Niel-Asher Technique For Frozen Shoulder

Frozen Shoulder Syndrome is an extremely painful and debilitating condition characterized by pain and stiffness of the shoulder. It lasts for an average of 30 months. Up to this point no treatment for the Frozen Shoulder (including injections and surgery) has proved consistently successful. Now there is a proven, drug-free programme that works in months not years.

What is the Niel-Asher Technique and how does it work?

The Niel-Asher Technique is a 'natural' method utilising the body's own healing mechanisms. No drugs, no surgery. It is HANDS-ON-ONLY. It uses a specific and unique sequence of manipulations to the shoulder joints and soft-tissues. Conventional approaches to treating Frozen Shoulder Syndrome involve painful injections, months of physical therapy and/or surgery.

Traditional physical therapies attempt to improve the range of motion by forcing the shoulder through the blockage, which may make symptoms worse.

The Niel-Asher Technique works differently. The technique helps the body to heal itself by addressing the two main components of the problem - Pain and Stiffness. The technique aims to significantly reduce the pain by treating the swelling around various shoulder tendons, in particular the biceps tendon. Following this, the technique then moves on to rapidly defrost and improve the range of movment within the shoulder by stimulating a unique sequence of reflexes hidden within the muscles. This helps the brain re-estabilish communication with the shoulder muscles, and promotes improved range of movement within the shoulder joint.
